01 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using School Guiders, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. Our platform is designed to provide transparent access to educational records, and your use of these services constitutes acceptance of these operational rules.
02 Accuracy of Information & Data Disclaimer
While we strive to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information, the data on our site is primarily sourced from the U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard API and other federal datasets.
Technical Clause: School Guiders synchronizes with federal APIs regularly. However, institutional policies, tuition rates, and aid packages can change without notice. We strongly recommend that users verify final tuition rates and admission requirements directly with the institution's financial aid or admissions office before making final decisions.
We make no representations as to the absolute real-time accuracy of this information and shall not be liable for any errors or omissions resulting from source data delays.
03 Use License & Intellectual Property
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This includes our proprietary ROI (Return on Investment) calculations and Admissions Difficulty indices.
Under this license you may not:
- Modify or copy our analyzed metrics;
- Use the materials for any commercial recruitment purpose;
- Attempt to reverse engineer any matching algorithm;
- Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server for database scraping.
04 Limitations of Liability
In no event shall School Guiders or its data suppliers be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the strategic materials on our platform. This includes, but is not limited to, academic decisions made based on our ROI estimates.
